My work explores history, culture, and lived experience through painting and calligraphic form, with a focus on underrepresented narratives rooted in Black history, music, and community. Drawing inspiration from jazz and the Negro Leagues, I create visual stories that honor resilience, innovation, and legacy.

Using a patented collagraph painting technique, I incorporate texture, rhythm, and layering to mirror the improvisational nature of jazz, allowing structure and spontaneity to coexist. Through both historical tributes and personal references, my work seeks to preserve cultural memory while inviting viewers to reflect on the enduring power of creativity and heritage.
